SU carb fuel leak problem??

Hello folks

Right finally got around to fitting my SU Hiff 44 carb on my SJ 413. Blanked everything off that i should etc..

I turned the key a it rang... then i turn the engine off, to see quite alot of fuel running out where the air filter goes. Any ideas as to why im getting fuel running out from the air filter should be?

I had that problem when I first plumbed mine in on my 410. It turned out I had actually plumbed it in slightly wrong. There are a few slightly different versions of HIF carburettors you see, for twin carb set-ups and things.

Can you post up a few pictures of how you've got her connected?
