Post by dunnin21 » Thu Mar 21, 2013 8:42 pm

I was thinking if I welded some thing on spare wheel holder but the wire might become week of opening and closeing the door. Not sure if it would affect range if it was on there also

Mines on the spare wheel mount, I drilled a hole in the back door (behind the holder) and put a gland on it, I then ran the cable under the carpet with a connector by the door so i can change it if i have too, I gave a loop of spare cable by the door hinge, then ran the cable into the door cavity with the amp & 6x9 cables, the Ariel itself is mounted on a z shaped bracket which I bolted on to the spare wheel carrier
