Looking good so far  .

All i would say is with the calipers mounted at that angle you will have to take the caliper off to bleed it. Which can be a bit of a pain in the arse, especially as you will also have to do the same with the vit calipers on the front.

yeah it will be a bit of a pain, the trouble is if i mount them dead upright, there is a chance it will hit the Bumpstop perch on the chassis, clears on normal up and down movement but would get dangerously close on full twist.

Not a problem, dont bleed the brakes that often anyway and with Discs will need a lot less attention :-)

Thanks Guys, the old bank/vredit card has taken a whack, but when i look back over the pst 2 years of ownership, have spent very little on Maintaining it so the way i see it is this might mean another 2 years of trouble free (ISH) motoring

the wheels i think i am going to paint, (just the centers) black

If i knew how to use photoshop i would show an example but i thnk hey work well, should be a little easier on my wheel bearings as well due to being wider and not just offset.

thats right bud, just the one spring for that money, even so, still not a bad price, and although i still havent tested them, seem pretty good and quite pliable already

well, seeing as I am here, might as well throw an update up.

had a lot of other things happening recently so not a lot of work has gone on, however, i did finally get round to fitting both rear disc's and calipers, fitted the rear hoses and mounted them, and also have now run all but 1 brake line.

Image

there it is, calliper had to go here, as if it went straight up would hit the Bump stop on twist.

Image

here is a manual adjustable bias valve, it is a bit further along from this picture, exiting the valve it goes to a t peice, then from there 1 brake line to each rear wheel, the reason for this is that i want to fit fiddle brakes.

so now it is back on 4 wheels again, i refitted all the dash ran some wiring, and still have a few more to do, but it is back together again with its Sammy dash and new switch panel.

also managed to get a Lovely SU manifold from Mike Harris, a good used SU from the bay, and a free donated genuine K&N filter for the su as well, with any luck, i should finish off the brakes this weekend, and maybe make a start on the floor pans, then MOT time.

thanks for watching, you've been great :doublethumbs:
