Windscreen pillar mount arial

Hi i was wondering wether anyone could help, i have a windscreen pilar ariel and was wondering if anyone knows where the cable runs and has any pictures of the fitted ariel, thanks

The cable runs in through behind the dash, it should be lurking around under the dash where the stereo somewhere if the cable is still attached to the aerial.

Yh thats what i thought but there has never been an ariel on the car that i can see. So no cable.

Goes down through a hole between the windscreen and tub above/in line with the drivers side heater vent.

Is yours a samurai? Mine never had a pillar mounted Ariel, the standard one on mine mounts through the scuttle pan on the passenger side

Ok and yes it is a samurai. Just find it odd hows there is no previous ariel unless it was removed and repaired but doubt it.

You cant see it well but its the silver thing infront of the windscreen sticker, mine is electrically telescopic but I think standard ones were black rubber / plastic, does yours have a hole there?

Awww yes thats the other place i was thinking of putting one but no there are no signs of any holes.

I wouldn't use the pillar mount one personally, they never seem to be a tight fit and let water in.
