Nothing a bit of sheet steel and welder can't sort in a couple of sessions.

It looks like a nice original example and pretty tidy too, I don't know much about roof linings but I bet a bit of spray adhesive with some nice fabric would sort it (faux leatherette?), what year is it? id do the same as you, its nice that the 410 is complete but but it doesn't look right (the chequer plate and Matt paint job scream that its been molested) the 413 looks like the better candidate and it has a nice patina too!

Contact spray adhesive and acoustic foam lining for the roof.

I was going with DIY. Just because a garage is doing is it doesn't mean it will be any good. They can badly weld a piece of plate in and cover it with filler as well as any of us can.

yer the roof lining sounds good boys thanks for the help. Its going to a garuge and he has done loads for use like my dads old car and stuff he gives me m8's rates as well witch is good darrel the sun roof is not origional and i hate it !! but at least it doesnt leak. Dads wanting to put a vinal roof on it not sure though. There is a few patches of bad surface rust and bubbling of paint this will be done by a profecional again. But im going to tackle the engine and interior my self. I have had one bad problem at the moment one is i cant fit the rear seats in and not all the bolts and holes are there !! drilling. Another weared thing that i have never seen before is that the pansenger seat has this thing were it lifts up and moves forward pritty cool will take a pic but there is some wire there that doing nothing but i wanna find out what its doing.

Bumpers need spraying as well i will do that . few other bits need spraying

Only thing its missing now is a suzuki club sticker hah hardly any rust on her though been barn stored for 10 years nearly and the car is nearly 30years old so dont know when it gets free tax but must be soon B redge. its going to be completly stock and it has all origional stickers on it as well.
only had 2 owners done 50,000 miles as well!!only moved around about 5 miles since new between owenrs.

nearly forgot bonnet also needs to be sprayed and thats going to be done by a profesionla so they can properly blend the colours !!
