Well we picked the SJ up at 11.30 this morning and loaded her up onto the trailer.

Then about an hour later we stopped off at clarks village for a mooch around and I remembered to take some pics. Had a mooch, Karis bought some new shoes blah blah blah

Then we stopped at a pub somewhere in Somerset for a Sunday roast

And finally we unloaded it back at the workshop around 5.00 and........

It began

It had no brakes and we soon noticed a leaking rear wheel cylinder but it just so happens my dad had a brand new one in a tool box that he can't remember buying? For all we know it could be back from when he worked at a suzuki dealer  also had no shoes left but as I'm a suzuki border that wasn't an issue either  however both rear bearings are shot so I've pulled the half shafts and will order some bearing kits tomorrow :doublethumbs: it's got a brand new exhaust fitted too! Bonus!

Bumper off so I can drill a snapped mounting bolt out.

Found a few patches of rust that need patching, there's hardly anything though, its only got 60k on the clock

A shot of the engine bay, someone's already fitted a 413 dizzy to get rid of the points but it needs a matching coil and work out what to do with the vac advance. shame they didn't paint the engine bay though! Nice bit of original yellow  also found a sticker saying the cambelt was done in jan 11

And the best bit :rockin:
OMP bucket seats and some nice road legal harnesses, someone has bodged an old tintop door in as a bulkhead but we're going to take it out, won't be hard there's not much holding it in.

Pink lights?

Scottie can't be agreeing to that. Looks like a tidy little motor. Bright green will certainly make it stand out.

I presume you'll be doing the work Karis?
