Jago anus body
Jago anus body
Hi, does anyone have any info on swapping a jago anus body onto a Samurai and if I will encounter any DVLA V5 issues?
Thanks

Re: Jago anus body
Probably more work than you think.
Do you have dimensions for one?

Janspeed manifold, LWB Vit vented discs and calipers
Build thread -- Build photos -- HLA-Artwork
Coming soon: YJs, Trussed axles, Full float rear.
Re: Jago anus body
The jago had the same wheelbase as the SJ and although slightly wider. Jago did actually produce a Suzuki based version. I do believe there have been a few body swaps onto Suzuki chassis but a web search just gets a few photo's and no detail.

I could do with one , just found another hole in mine. Those dam rustworms are getting the better of me .
I see in Africa you can get a fibreglass body to go on them, I couldn't even find a price for that!!
I guess it wouldn't be an option for us as the shipping cost would be silly.
Good luck with your searching

Why didn't they make the rickman ranger to fit a SJ (guess it wouldn't be a kit car then).

Re: Jago anus body
I'd be tempted to holiday to Africa and swap the bodies while I was over there. I shouldn't think it'd take more than a couple of days.
There's three ways of doing things:
The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

LOL, that body is brilliant, it looks just like a giant tamiya body.
and the only place ive seen a rickman ranger was in a scrapyard... thought it was cool though:)
