Yeah I think all the moss on it etc has just held in the moisture, it was sat in a car park for 5 years and what used to be tarmac underneath was just covered in moss  It's all easy fixes though so shouldn't take long! I'm gonna bin the vitara seats that are in it as I have a complete set of original seats that I'm going to fit.

Think it's gonna have to have a virtual lift! The rear arches are worse than I thought after peeling all the sealer off, It'll just be a subtle one for up to 31" tyres I think. Also pulled up a plate that was badly welded on, or should I say wasn't welded on to find another hole! Not a problem looks like it might be another body off resto

I would cut the panels out this black one thats being scraped tomorrow, but the shells as bad as this.

If we don't sell the 95 body shell maybe I can cut bits of that to help this build?

If the body doesn't get sold that would be awesome Mike, I might phone around a few places to get some new replacements though, although I'm half tempted to virtual lift it for some 31s :er: I dont really want to though and I wouldn't use the wings I've just bought of you for that ;) would be silly chopping up a mint set of wings. Was it autoblechtielle in Germany that you got your new inner wings from? Can you remember how much they were?

Started a bit of work on it today, got a starter motor off Dan yesterday, cheers for that! :doublethumbs: last weekend I poured some oil into the cylinders and turned it over a few times by hand to make sure the bores weren't dry. So today I cleaned up the plugs and checked the gaps then found a coil, dizzy cap and some HT leads in my spares, hooked up a battery and hoped it would fire up. Considering the fuel was 5years old this happened

Only ran it for about a minute though as I need to change the oil and filter before giving it a good run, it has the usual noises an engine that's been sat for so long has but sounds like its going to be a good'un once it's got some fresh oil in it and everything gets properly lubed up.

Also started the fun bit, cutting out rust :hack:
