Cheers Terry

There's no bad noises but.........I think I'm going to swap over to some standard rubber bushes instead of the poly ones for the engine and transmission mounts, they are a little bit too hard I think and It makes it quite noisy inside

Could really do with a lengthened rear prop looking at it as well but Trotter is knocking me up a spacer as a temporary solution  I need to head over to see my old boss and borrow his lathe eventually.

It's hard to tell if the carb has given the engine a bit more power to be honest as the gearing has been raised from 4.1 in the diffs to 3.73 since I last had it on the road. the 4.1 SJ410 diffs don't fit the samurai axles it has fitted now. It does pull quite well and feels like it has plenty of torque. I might source some 3.9s from an sj413 to go in as the gearing feels a little bit too high at the moment on road.

And Dan  be quiet :thefinger:

Was a nightmare though working out what pics went in certain places! It's facebook a fault! I used to host them all in there and I guess when they changed the photo set up it changed all the URLs, luckily the last few numbers stayed the same

I bought it after that was done, it was only cut into a soft top as it was rolled. I hope you aren't thinking about cutting the roof off your SJ  would make more sense to sell it and buy a soft top as soft tops are more common and it would save a lot of work.
