I'm pretty sure it is. I have stacks of spare lj80 prop shafts if you need one.

I think bits4vits do a spacer with a multitude of holes, I'm not 100% sure but I think this spacer fits the skinny prop SJ so should fit an LJ too, I'd check your pcd is right before ordering though!

If you browse the site they do different thickness spacers too

Questions have popped up quite a few times regarding propshafts and I don't know of a useful list of measurements. So I've done a diagram (there's a surprise) and hopefully you guys with spares can get a few measurements for future reference.

The pcd can be worked out as length C divided by 0.707

It's funny you should mention that Darrell as I started to compile some propshaft info for a thread on the friday before I went to France last week because I want to swap to a yota rear prop so was doing some research into lengths etc. ;) I'll get it started at lunchtime and also do soem measuring in the workshop this evening with the propshafts that I have lying around

LJ propshafts have the same PCD as very early SJ's up to about late '83ish, they also used the same style solid propshafts as well, but obviously in different lengths. After that the SJ's used a larger diameter hollow propshaft which also used a different PCD. I used to remove the flanges though and swap them round on the diffs so I could swap the diffs around to raise or lower gearing. I was told you are not supposed to do that, (can't remember why though, something to do with setting up the diff!!!) but all I will say I did many 10's of thousand miles like that with no problems.

Thanks for that mate. The PCD on my LJ Shaft is alot smaller than any SJ shaft or spacer I can find, but thanks for the heads up gives me hope I might be able to find an early spacer or shaft that might do the trick.. As for the flange swaps, when u remove the nut u alter the preload on the pinion bearings.. These nuts are torqued to set the load, but providing u dont do them up to tight or leave to much float ull get away with it.. Thanks for the info mate..
