funny noise

hi all, i have a 85 sj410 santana on standard suspension, and when am going over speed bumps am getting a squeaking noise that sounds like its from the front, the ride is VERY stiff any way, will this by spring or shocks or something else

sounds like dry spring leafs,, or dry rubbers. if you jack the truck on the chassis as so the springs hang. (use a axle stand) then prise the leafs apart and spread some grease between them.. try that, if its still squeaking spray all your rubbers. if that fails turn up the radio,LOL.

mine makes a similar noise and a lot more. I fixed the radio!

we used to get the noise on the leaf sprung motorhomes,, 9 times out of 10 grease the leafs and it would go..
