Distributor being dizzy
Distributor being dizzy
Ive recently bought a 413 (1.3 litre) samurai van to get back on the road, however the engine is fitted with a distributor from the 410 (1 litre) engine, I think the engine is miss firing, will my engine run ok on this distributor, if not any ideas where i can find a 413 dizzy? thanks

Re: Distributor being dizzy
Don't forget your need the coil as well (assuming the 410 coil was fitted as well as the dizzy).

Re: Distributor being dizzy
As long as the points are set up correctly and the condenser and coil are fine then it should run fine.
You will get a stronger spark with an electronic dizzy though
