throttle cable

Post by samurai gary » Thu May 03, 2012 8:11 pm

Hi, I have just had to buy a new throttle cable for my samurai, i have brought the original part, but the nipple at carb end is too large to fit on the su throttle, i have seen on some forum that i need to grind it down, has anyone ever done this, if so do i use an angle grinder, i would imagine this would be difficult and too harsh or is there a simpler way of doing it......thanks

If you're not enough of a surgeon with an angle grinder, I'm sure you could use a file instead, it'll just take a while.
There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

Vice and file me thinks :D
One false move with the grinder and the nipples on the floor along with your fingers :bawling:
