Yeah it was this one that was £200+ nice bit of kit though.

That relay you linked to is what Tramp's talking about I think, with a switch on the handbrake providing the feed to switch it on

The thing about the overland kit is that its not just a split charge, its a battery monitoring system as well hence the price.

I think having an extra switch on the handbrake just over complicates things IMO.

I'm all about keeping things simple but effective.

You'd need a manual isolator between the batteries and also means of switching off the split charger relay though, unless you get a heavy duty relay
