As the title my build is happening but very slowly, have been gathering all my mods and got my new front leaves today so will soon be putting her together,

calmini 2" reverse shackle
Some 2" black flexiduct for snorkel

Well, that and the leaves will keep me busy for now, next is getting shot of the road wheels, Vit wideboy alloys, tyres are a whopping 265/50/15.

Nah she was pink when i got it, the missus was very specific about what i was allowed to buy, it had to pink and a soft top, so i went looking.

just got made redundant so hoping for mid march to be road legal but reckon if i can swap my wheels can have it play day ready for end off january,

I have loads of spares, the front bull bars will get a redesign, calmini is half fitted got to take it off to fit new leaves and the snorkel wont take to long, looking to borrow a weilder for the rotted passenger door sill got some 3mm sheet steel to beef up the sides with thats all i can think of for now. i even have some prop spacers if i get inventive.

The rust is confind to the sill, but havnt tried poking around yet,
The filter is plain gauze was wondering if i should take the stock air filter cylinder out? and connect the snorkel straight up,

Any thoughts????

Id leave your standard filter in and get rid of the cone and replace it with a mesh /grid affair

The cone is only mesh( dya think i should still remove it ), theres no filter in it, and was only 3 quid from a mate in halfords. will make sure the engine filter is water tight too, its got a pipe from the exhaust heat sheild though should i take that off???
