samurai yj conversion
hi im hoping to do a yj spring conversion on my sj soon, has anyone got any drawings for the spring mounts or have any info i should know before i start, thank you

i believe scott is doing this conversion at the moment so he might be more of a help then me

ive just been looking thru his build thread, i can feel myself getting older its taking me that long to get thru it lol!

your not the only one that thinks that , tell me about it though im only 16 and ive been rebuilding mine for the past 5 months , and what gets me it takes that long to build it and seconds to break it

I've been doing a little bit more than just a YJ conversion though and workshop moves and crashing golfs doesn't really help progress
I have Cad drawings of my spring adapter plates and I've just got to draw up the Ubolt plates and front shackle hangers so give me a week or two and ill post them up. I don't get much time to sit down on my pc at home to finish them.
You could easily do the conversion in a day if you had everything ready.

Cheers but that would be great, im hoping to do the conversion as quickly ass possable so im just looking at getting all the parts ready, what shocks are you using?

Just cheap Astra gas shocks (9.5" travel) at the moment but I will eventually upgrade to some Bilstein 5100 shocks from the US
