Merc on merc accident

Post by twiss » Mon Sep 26, 2011 11:50 am

I saw this outside my work earlier... heard a big tyre screech (not unusual with the amount of boy racers round here)
followed by a loud bang and more screeching...

Looked out the window to see a cloud of rubber smoke... went out for a ciggy and it turns out an old bloke had "pressed the wrong pedal" when trying to pull out of a parking space...
p.s. he was on the end of a row of spaces so all he had to do with go forward and turn right!

The bloke on the left of the bottom picture is the very unhappy owner of the '09 merc!
Ripped the rear tyre off the rim... took the bottom lip off the front alloy... made a complete mess out of the drivers side!!!

Oooo, das nasty!

The way that '09 shed it's tyres looks so bizarre. Makes sense in the situation but I've only ever seen it on off-roaders.

Those alloys alone were probably worth as much as the other Merc before the accident.

they sure as hell like their silver mercs there, there's one in the background, perhaps it wants to join in the silver merc mash up?

Silver Mercs are worse than Black SJs. They're all f-ing silver.

Too many is all I'm saying. It seems like most folks who repaint their SJs paint them black.
