Hi i have just bought a sj413 samurai with the removable hardtop the rear of the hardtop is plastic but the front section is glass which u can c through from the inside. does ne1 know nething about the glass ( what models its on, how much its worth e.t.c).

i think the glass bit of my roof may be off of a diahatsu sportrak, not 100% but thts all i can find on the net with a removable glass roof.

Glass hardtops were a factory option offered by Suzuki. They are quite rare nowdays. The rubbers that fit between the glass and SJ cab are even more scarce.

No, I can't find any pics. Just did a search on my PC.
Looking at the glass end on, it is a shallow U shape. There is a section of rubber that fit on either side, and yet more rubber bits that fit on the front and rear of the glass. I'll keep looking because I know I have/had a pic of the glass section, as I had one of these tops.
The glass ones are bulkier than the fibreglass ones, but are in fact slightly smaller and easier to store in the back of the SJ.
