Twiss' Samurai 16v
Re: Twiss' Build/Breakages Thread!
I've just bought some matte black paint for mine... now I'm thinking I should have bought something more shiny!

Re: Twiss' Build/Breakages Thread!
Well I've already got the matt black paint now so I was thinking about using that for the body panels and then using a gloss black for the wheels, arches and rollcage. I've not seen that colour scheme on anything before but there might be an obvious reason for that - it might look w**k!

Re: Twiss' Build/Breakages Thread!
My wheels are lovely hammerite black... I got 20 cans of assorted black hammerite for free
(hammered and smooth)
I definitely need to sort the snorkel. It's actually more of an ornament at the minute as I broke the sealed air filter it fed into.
Problem is... it's only about 35mm ID... Which is enough for the 1.3 engine, but it really hesitates with the 1.6
I love the material, as it bends and squashes and then goes back to it's original shape... this is good for me as I seem to have a habit of driving into trees and stuff like that

Re: Twiss' Build/Breakages Thread!
Well, first update for a while!
Just replaced my drivers side front caliper... I HAVE BRAKES AGAIN!
... and it moves! Now it's just welding to be done and I will be back on the road!
As soon as I move house I will get myself a welder and finish the beast off!
Admittedly it really does need the cambelt and water pump changing as well though, but that can wait until I've got my new garage
