Re: The Sexuki
I reckon that's what they are. They're in the right place for them anyway, and mine has similar things too, as I've left the twisted mounts on for now.
There's three ways of doing things:
The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

Cheers dudes!! Made me
Correctamundo they are bull bar mounts, thought it looked a bit gash so I left it off!!
Might put it back on because it has got some nice spot lights
Had the battery light and exclamation mark light on all week.... Had a fettle with the alternator, took it apart, couldn't see anything wrong, put it all back together, still the same!
Thought I would try a new fan belt, the one I had on it was a touch too long and was not far off the limit for the adjuster, tight though, not squealy.....
Bingo, off goes the light... Very weird

Re: The Sexuki
Maybe it was slipping so much it didn't squeak or something......
Reminds me, I still need an alternator mount...and I still need to sort out that fuel problem. I think it's something wrong with either the carb, the pump or the tank.

Re: The Sexuki
It splutters badly, where you lose power and get it back again repeatedly within a second or two (sometimes longer) without moving your foot on the pedal. It cuts out completely on some occasions. It's worse uphill I've noticed too.Sexuki wrote:What does it do wrong Ed?
I'm thinking next stop the carb needs a clean out and service.
