I think there way a guy on difflock who was making them, but that was a loooong time ago, I cant remember who.

i bought them about 6 month ago off a private seller im going to change my springs soon so if i get time il take them off and make some copys if anyone has any interest.

I'm not sure if i like the sound of a bolt on SPOA kit with the rotational forces that the axle goes through with a SPOA!i've seen welded on perches bend so i wouldn't even think about putting a bolt on kit on my SJ! Also with SPOA you will need an anti spring wrap bar to stop you destroying your rear springs and prop if you are going to do it properly.

i can see a bolt on kit being stronger as Slinkyjim says they slot into the tops of the old ones.
no need to weaken the axels with welding the saddles on.
the saddles it self is most probely a piece of box section cut an welded to shape.
as strong as a houes.

there made of about six millimetre thick steel and fit pretty well so should take some stick to brake them i have some steel that thick and a plasma cutter and im a pretty good welder so im gonna make a set up there alot better than the saddles that ya weld on coz there would be only as stong as the weld but these fit directly into the old ones perfectly plus there line up your axles straight too ya could always weld them aswell if ya unsure.

IMHO I would still go down the route of some well made weld on perches! as for the saddles being only as strong as the weld, if a weld is done well then for every inch of weld it should hold 1 tonne of force and it shouldn't weaken the axle tube, so i wouldn't worry about that if your a good welder, also with the bolt on saddles the only thing that is going to be stopping them from rotating around the axle is the welds on the original saddles which will be subjected to more of a rotational force than they would with a SPUA.

As for an Anti axle wrap bar have a read here!

i can see ya point scottie il see how it goes when i get to give it some stick ive got a bam bar that bolts around my diff then upto chassis with a damper on it are these any good i aint tried it yet as my car aint got any brakes at min.

well you might be alright with the bolt on ones if you've already got a bam bar?! but like you said give it a try and find out!

is it one of these you've got? if so i think they're pretty darn good!
