What is it with golfs!?

Never understood why people get all giddy over them, they are soooo fucking ugly!

Maybe im missing something... care to 'try' and explain?

There's just something about them! it's only the mk 1 & 2s I like though! each to their own but i think they look awesome.

I do have a thing for 80's cars though!

Not to mention the mk2 is the most fun to drive hot hatch you can buy! why do you think clarkson loves them so much!

Have you driven one? If not get in one, head for the nearest country lane and put your foot down

completely agree with you Scott, I'm all about the Mk 1 & 2s, the mk 4 is pretty nice too but too big. I like the way they feel so simple, kinda like an sj really!

think I actually prefer the mk 1s, but they're super rare now. This is my friends old one he did up, so nice.

then some bint pulled out in front of him...

You defo need to drive one to fully appreciate them. I was never a big fan until i bought a mk2 gti as a run around, and absolutely loved it. Until the engine went bang

. Id like to get a mk1 one day but there getting a bit pricey now.
