Grand Vitara 2011 5-door Tailgate change over.

Hi all, I wondered if anyone can tell me if I can swap over my tailgate (I have the model without the spare on it) for a tailgate with the spare attached. My current one is damaged and I'm finding it difficult to find an identical replacement from any breakers yard. If I can I realise I will have to replace the rear bumper as well because of the location of the number plate. Any help would be much appreciated.

Never done it myself but I really can’t see any reason why you wouldn’t be able to swap the door and bumper over for one with a spare.

You might just need to modify the wiring slightly for the number plate lights if that’s in a different position.
