I probably wouldn’t go bigger than 235/75r15
It will struggle a bit on road on hills but the little f10 loves to scream at high rpms so it’s fine 😅
I ran a 410 with 30” tyres for a few years and it was fine.

Also bin the shackle lift and refit standard shackles, longer shackles do more harm than good on and off-road and the tiny amount of lift they give will not provide any benefit to your SJ.

Thank you Scottie

I am searching for a post i believe i saw from you, but i cant find. It was about how to tell the difference between type 1 and 2. Mine has steel dash, disc brakes in front and 4wd light in dash. I believe i read that was type 2? Is it so that the 413 gearbox will fit, so i can swap to g16a?

If your gearbox crossmember is this style then yes a 1.3 gearbox will bolt straight in and the gear lever will be in the correct place.

Try to get yourself some 1.3 engine mounts cut off a 413/samurai chassis as it will make the job loads easier as well.

The ZukParts adapter kit from NZ is the best one to use.

Thanks for the advice this far. But i am wondering because of ease of access for myself, what about vitara engine mounts? I already have those. Or are the 413 ones preferable

You need the 1.3 mounts for the engine to sit in the correct position. Have a read of this thread viewtopic.php?t=9512
