The lwb is starting to come together nicely. Front end is all welded and refitted to the car with a virtual lift to the top if the arch lines.

Refitted the headlights and grill. Finally got a grill emblem to.
Had to renew one headlight connector and change the ends on the side/Indicators as new ones didn't match

With the front end all fitted back in place I could finish fitting the winch solenoid and dash controls from the old car. On the previous I had the isolator for the winch under the bonnet and just a switch interrupting the power to the toggle inside.

This time I decided to have the isolator inside the cab on the dash. Plan to use this to feed a second fuse board further down the line for other offroad accessories.

Also left plenty of space on the new switch panel for this also.

Still slowly picking away at jobs on this. Focus lately has been getting it running again. Got my su manifold from rockwatt fitted. Made up a intake turned it over and the float chamber is leaking.

Hadn't opened the hif44 up to check my needle and spring but since I was ordering a new seal.figured was a good time.
Found I already have a bdl needle but with a yellow spring. So new red spring and seals should arrive tomorrow.

Cheers man! Hopefully not far from mot then can start messing with it all over again 😂

Well it's running and steering again! Over the weekend I made up a new exhaust out of some side steps. Got to make the most of the scrap pile.

Finished the throttle and choke cable. Then got the timing light out. Got her at 10° and think I've the fuel mixture is right but not took it a proper test drive yet.

Sadly I had to change the servo setup. The primera one was to big. It had been catching the steering uj at the bulkhead and damaged the colum on the car side.

So a trip to the scrappys Sunday morning. After much looking around and pulling a few servos to compare. I ended up with a slimmer servo that would take my primera master cylinder and save any repiping. From the scrappys to a friend's house who was breaking a sj. Gladly swapped him a passenger wing for the new steering column.
