Hello folks. I have just picked up a 2002 Grand Vitara (BTW - What makes it a Grand Vitara as opposed to a Vitara?). Good to find this forum - I'm about to go and delve into the archive to find out if and how folk have got on with swapping steel wheels for alloys. Already come across terms like PCD, Hub-centric & Offset so its probably not quite as simple as I thought...

A belated welcome to the forum.
We also have a similar G Vitara (2005 3 door) and living in scotland she gets a hot clean underneath + Waxoyl every 2 years to try and slow down the demon rust.
Hope you enjoying the Zuki as much as we do - we took the old girl over to the coast yesterday to polish the rust off the discs as we only drive her sporadically during the winter months.
