vitara 1995 immobiliser issue

Bought a vitara yesterday year 1995. Seller used the immobiliser over-ride under bonnet and said after a few days not running this would be necessary. Car ran fine all day yesterday starting 4 or 5 times with no issue. Come to start it today, using green button on keys to disarm the immobiliser, red light on dash flashing. Turn key and the engine won't start. Lights are working so not a flat battery. Only other thing i could think is starter motor issue but im pretty sure i'm just missing something with the immobiliser... Any ideas appreciated...

Im presuming this is an aftermarket immobiliser if you have a fob for it? Unfortunately that’s probably not something we’d be able to advise on. Some of the old aftermarket immobilisers are terribly unreliable.

Id start by arming and disarming it a few times with all the doors shut and ignition off.

Managed to get it disarmed after lots sulking and abit of swearing
