Evening from the northwest. I'm from fleetwood and on the look out for an sj van after seeing everyone on here having a mental time. I'm not too bad with a spanner but new to 4x4's. I've got a classic mini pickup and a vw lt recovery truck too.
I'm looking forward to meeting as many of you as possible and having a good laugh

Hello and welcome, I must say... an SJ is the way to go if you want to get into 4x4 mechanics...

Nice and easy, mostly simple stuff... plus if you have a spare SU carb for a 1300 mini you can put it on a zook with great results!

Best of luck in locating an SJ :D

Thanx for the welcome guys really appreciate it. Seems i've got alot to learn about the sj's from looking around the forum but we've all got to start somewhere eh :)
I collect my first 1 in a couple of weeks from kent. Shold be a good test for the recovery truck i've recently purchased too. I'm going to be travelling from near blackpool to kent so if anyone needs a car or small van moving south give me a pm 8-)
