Just re read the whole thread! A real inspiration for if I ever get round to my Weldathon LWB project.......
J20 and auto sounds a great combo too. I still have a 1.6 16v kicking about for mine eventually...
A shame some off those earlier pics have gone, any chance you may redo them perhaps?.

Been pretty busy with this the last few months.
Body came back off for blasting, 2k epoxy primer, gravitex and body colour paint.
Built a full (manifold back) stainless exhaust for it.
Rockwatt shortened an intermediate prop shaft for me as I haven’t got my lathe up and running yet. If you need any bits machining he’s worth contacting
Then got all the wiring sorted, made mounts for the old corolla 2 core aluminium rad (similar height and width to an SJ rad but the ports are on the opposite sides and bigger to match the j20) because it’s 2 core I had to mount it quite far forwards and cut into the grill panel and lose the original bonnet catch. I’ve just got some locking bonnet pin catches fitted instead.
Made mounts for an oil cooler for the auto.
Made a heat shield for the exhaust manifold to help keep the battery cool.
As for the dash things have got super simple. Didn’t want to move the auto shifter so I cut the bottom off the dash instead 
I could have kept the stock heater controls but I only ever have it on hot, feet and screen so the flaps are locked in that position, there’s no valve to the matrix and I simply have a 3 position switch for the blower motor. Off, mid and high speeds. Upper vents only blow cold as standard anyway so I never use them either.
“Power/sport” mode switch for the auto and a USB charge port also installed so far. Planning on some sort of double din head unit or tablet in the top section for gps mapping and music etc hopefully.
Ecu is tucked up behind the glove box on a custom mount.
While on the subject of ECUs, this one has been sat in my workshop for 9 years. It un synced itself from the immobiliser. Luckily Rhinoman lives locally and he popped over for a look, diagnosed the issue and took my ECU home with him, resynced it, bought it back and she fired straight up. Can’t thank him enough!!! Was quite a relief that i wired it all up correctly

I have been doing lots of little bits since the last update but I need to wait until it warms up so I can paint it and finish it.
Won’t be any progress over the next few weeks though as I had an accident at work where I crushed and broke a finger. Had surgery last Friday and it should be fine once it’s healed hopefully
Have been collecting bits for a new builds well so will have to start a thread for that soon

Quick update.
Added some tube to the box section sills to keep those trees off my doors and a storage solution for those weekends away!
Oh and I also painted it
Got some more bits left to paint and a few bugs to iron out then she’s ready for MOT.
So I thought I’d have a play with Nylon fuel lines, although there’s a lot of nylon tube online for sale that says it’s fuel safe I’ve found some of it seems to swell over time, not in diameter but in length
the small lengths of tubes I got in my kit to make the lines hasn’t done this and I’ve finally tracked down some more that’s apparently the same grade nylon so fingers crossed it’ll fix my issue. If not I’ll be going back to metal lines
