Post by Henry » Wed Dec 15, 2010 6:31 pm

Starting a new build thread now :)

This is my latest build, and the biggest i have ever undertaken. Im not doing it Alone, A good friend of mine is also helping :smokin:

The build consist of :

1992 Discovery chassis

1986 Fiat Panda Sisley (originally a 4x4)

1979 Rover v8 and manual gear box.

Along with a few other bits hear and there.

So first i got all the parts (that where spread over three locations) together.

I agree. Get it road legal. You could make people jump at traffic lights with that thing, and then they'd go crying back to mummy because the Citroen Saxo lost to an old Panda
There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

Had a spare hour this morning, too wet to do anything else!

I have started by cutting 10" out of the chassis. I will then tac it together and drop the body on to see how it looks. I dont want to go to short just yet, but i want to make sure that the tires dont bind on the front bulk head.
