Opinions on LJ80 for sale on ebay

Post by jimsco » Fri Feb 05, 2021 1:22 pm

Hello,

Whilst searching for an old land rover I came across an LJ80 for sale and I think they look great.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/suzuki-lj80- ... 3869462433

The price seems quite high to me but it's difficult to gauge with so few on sale. What do you guys think and what should I be looking for if I go to view?

Thanks

Probably not a bad price. Original, mainly. I'm selling mine too (see avatar) and I'm not asking £6.5K either!

Let me know if you do. Any idea what insurance group they come under?

Not sure of the insurance group but I covered it under classic insurance. Agreed value of £8k, all mods declared and even insured for off roading. About £120 a year fully comp. Tax is cheap too as it still says 800cc on the log book!

I was planning to put the old girl on eBay but I'm not a fan of that place. You're more than welcome to come and have a look if you want to, I'd rather she went to someone on here.

I’m only just on here :)

I’m working near Slough and travelling back to Herts on M25 some days.
I’ll PM you next week and maybe pop over wc10th or weekend.
