Hi,
I thought that I had filled this in before but must have been a different forum.
I'm Welsh born, but have live in France
So I used to have a 87 SJ410, which I had running on RUF/YJ on normal shackels all home made, HIF Carb, 4.16 T case, 215/80/15 tyres. Stupidly sold it for next to nothing a few years ago.
A few weeks ago found a Samurai 413 1.3i soft top, with a 2nd complet crashed one for parts at a good price with 117 000KM and Docs for 4 seats (With 2 little ones had to have the 4 seats.) all seemed in good condition until I cleaned it up, and seen rivets all over the underside and alot of filler. So am at the moment taking it all apart to fix up body and clean everything. Projets are at the moment getting it all sorted and cleaned up, then sort out French MOT, after MOT which is valide for 2 years here, go RUF/YJ, 4.16 Tcase, rear disk brakes, etc.
I go 4x4ing with a few mates here, also used for Hunting and winter weather. Will get alot of use once finished.
Thanks
Russell
