I'm new

Post by SimonSam » Mon Nov 29, 2010 4:08 pm

Hey hows it going? Im new to the world of these great little vehicles although I have had a pretty shocking start. Picked it up on ebay for ok money then dropped into a friends garage for him to sort the brakes for me(I couldn't be arsed). Anyway picked it up two weeks ago, ten miles down the road a con rod through the side of the engine  Made a nice big cloud of smoke though. Anyway I have changed the engine even though it doesnt want to run but i'm getting there. Once I have this pozy engine running I will take some some pictures at the start of the project and keep everyone updated with the progress.

welcome to the site, the rust looks pretty superficial so I'm sure it won't be to much work to make it roadworthy
