Hello all. - I need help in identifying the harness wires to the o2 sendor on my 97 vitara jlx

Also, - there is a strong odor of fuel at the back of my car. - I have changed the fuel tank, the h oses, and the tank cover. - there are no leaks but the odour remains strong and this only happens when the engine is off. - any ideas??

Re: O2 sensor wires
When you changed the hoses, did you also check the tank vent hose?

Re: O2 sensor wires
Anton, bcause the car was poorly converted from a carburettor to a EFI engine there is no EVAP canister so the vent host from the tank goes nowhere but this odor problem only recently started after months of driving, I suspect the o2 sensor may be sending a wrong signal to the ECU so I need to know the colour of the harness wires that connect to the o2. - let me say also that I am having a hard start problem hot or cold, but once its started it runs flawlessly.

EFI stuff is above my paygrade, but ScottieJ or Darrel might know.
