How does one remove 2012 Jimny exterior plastic body side moldings?
I'm seeking some advise/ tips and possible pics on best method with least damage to body and panels, obviously a pronged panel removal tool is a good start.
Thanks in advance!

Last time I removed one was with the aid of a tree
Sid James gone but never forgotten
Jimny 1.6 not as good as an SJ but still good

Thanks! I think they're known as Fir Tree Clips?

Yep, they all break, mine was removed by a post in Costa Coffee carpark, replacements are pricey too.
I have found a claw hammer works well, just to get your fingers behind and pull.
Most of the plastics are now held on with Self Tappers after refusing to pay a stupid amount for the right clips!

I've heard that, I think they're coloured in the actual plastic? and can't be easily sprayed to match other panels.

What the actual clips? Nope, all of mine are a now muddy white!
And the 13.16 trim is a bitch to replace, I replaced one side with:
