Fuel cap

Getting through the list of jobs on the 'new' samurai and I find the fuel cap seal is missing, so I've made a new one but I'm wondering if it was missing for a reason, ie the previous owner got the wrong cap, anyway this cap is NON vented, is this right for a 91 413 samurai before I suck the tank inside out haha

yes that's fine, the filler neck has a breather pipe coming off it, underneath the cover in the back
