hey guys i just got new wheels (15x7) and tyres (30-9.5-r15) they look great but will catch the seam under any kind of articulation. so my question is that there are 2 seams 1 vertical and one horizontal which way should I hammer them?
the bumper bars are gone and steering is already limited cheers.

If you can weld, chop them off and weld them up.
If not I think i used to hammer the horizontal down and vertical in.

I hammered everything flat long, long ago. 
1985 SJ413VX (SJ50V) with SPOA, rear disc brakes, 31x10.5R15 Kaiman Malatesta tyres, an MOT and a lot left to do!
