abs pump

sorry if this is in the wrong place
hello all,does anyone know whether the abs pump on a 2005 1.6 awd is tied in to the ecu or can I just go to a scrap yard and pick one up,thanks steve

I was hoping somebody would post up that knows for sure, but to the best of my knowledge they are not tied.
