How do I remove the steering wheel?

Can anyone offer advice as to how to remove my steering wheel....I need to replace the indicator stalk and have bough a second hand unit but I think I need to remove the steering wheel to fit it

Just make sure you leave a turn of the nut still on the thread when you pull the wheel to release it otherwise it will break your face
