Calmini 3" lift kit - UK equivalent?
Re: Calmini 3" lift kit - UK equivalent?
But then if you make it too tall and it falls over off road because the centre of gravity is too high it's not just the paint you'll be annoyed about
Unless you want to run lots of lift and make your sj less stable you will always need to do some minor tweaks to the body to fit a decent size tyre.
In my mind there's only a few ways to go with regards to leaf sprung suspension.......It boils down to once thing....fitting longer springs, longer springs ride softer and flex better.
Yjs on the rear and RUF (sj rears up front).
Yjs all round
or a similar combination using hilux front springs.
Some decent 2" lift springs on the rear (that don't have high spring rate)and RUF

...although tbf that manoeuvre would've put a GT40 on its side!

Just so everyone is clear - that is me standing on the hill, Hilux Scottie was driving.

Probably, actually. Driver error - he put a wheel on the tree root on the way down, unsettled the vehicle and put one wheel on the bank, one in the ditch. It's hard to stay upright in those conditions, but if any vehicle could, it's a lower one than mine!!!buzzuki wrote:Class!
