Fitting new hood on grand vitara '02

Hi peeps going to fit a new hood from monsoon tomorrow, are there any hint, tips, do's or don't do?

Welcome to the forum. I seem to remember people like to fit the hoods when it's milder and the material can stretch a little. I believe Monsoon are good hoods though :thumbup: .

Yes I guessed that's the case but the hood is so brittle it's cracked and is not weather proof :(

All done on tuesday, the rear hood was a bit tight to close but soon relaxed after i had the fan heater from the shed on in the car, no problems at all, got the hood from Monsoon who say they provided new vitara's with their hoods when they came into the country even provided basic instructions and all the snap rivets that are needed to replace the old ones. Looks nice and smart now :guns:
