Yeah they are a step, the back part of them just in front of the rear tyre is slatted across so you can stand on them. Not too sure on the look of them myself, think they might have to be taken off and modified a bit, they sit too low down, do come in handy for washing the roof tho.Jordi wrote:Looks tidy bud. The side step / bars look a bit odd, presuming they are a proper step?

Re: KJA cut n shut
Had the week off work and thought I'd best get round to spraying the new back and side panels before the weather gets too cold to paint. Usually do painting in my garage at home but did these up at my yard, only problem is that when im at home I can suspend things to paint from the rafters but at my yard rafters are 30ft up so I had to bang some screws into the wall and tie panels up to the screws with string. Anyway, they got 3 coats of high build primer then 3 coats of topcoat, well pleased with the results, they say practice makes perfect. Im not saying they're perfect but I think its the best bit of painting I've done.
Ive been and stuck the vinyl "suzuki" on the tailgate today and fitted them, had to rob the latches off my rascal but there on and looking sweet.

Re: KJA cut n shut
Nice work
I don't have it to hand, but I saw a Jap vid some time ago where they had filled in that void between the back of the cab and the front of the mudguards with a small body colored metal panel each side, carrying on the sill line thru to the guard. It totally transformed the look and made the cab and the bed more 'unified' and less tray back if you know what I mean?
I'll see if I cab dig it out someday

It's great, what a nice looking zook! I particularly like the black Suzuki on the tailgate, it jus looks so tidy, I have to say though, I'm not a big fan of the side steps or the rear bumper,

I had an original tailgate with the stickers on, I just traced them, then got some black vinyl and cut them out by hand. Had to do it twice because I had it on both rear panels, the old one that I made myself and the new ones that I painted the other week. Had plenty of spare vinyl so I did a rhino for it the other day as well, ill have to get a picture of that.Rabid Rhino wrote:It does...
