:rhino: hello.im a lover of the grand vitara having owned one for over ten years but time has come to update so we are looking for a mk4 2005 onward gv.at least i think its mk4??? Anyway..i will be looking for pages to sell my old gv..a mk3 2002 reg 3 door with under50000 actual miles on the clock..its got about a month left mot but the front brakes are sticking on so i want to update rather than spend...i know it will need calipers renewing or recon and new pads..the calipers are £70 each and the pads about £20 but u guys probably know best so if you have any advice or might be interested in the gv then get in touch or reply...the car is burgundy red.three door.alloys all good.1.6 16v.clean in and out and the engine runs lovely..good offers considered...located near darlington...does drive but brakes seem to stick on sometimes after ten miles sometimes after a lot further...gv has been home serviced mainly so not much paperwork....cheers guys...bezzy

Welcome to the club.

Calipers may just need a good strip and service. Rebuild kits are usually available, SJ kits are only £25 from brakes international. Can't see GV kits being much more.
