Hi All ive got a question about putting a SU Hiff 38 in to a sj 410 santanna. as the asian carb has a stop solenoid in it and didnt know where this would go with the SU carb ??????
Any help would be great

The stop solonoid you describe becomes redundant along with the old carb.

the stop solenoid just has one wire to it, with the su it doesn't have one so you leave the wire loose (or hook it up back in the loom with a bit of tape around in case you decide to put a standard carb back on it)

ok thanks guys im am also trying to get hold of the kit in one of the articles in the diy bit but cant seem to find any i have sent a email to greg at sj410.co.uk as it says on the web site that they are all sold out any ideas guys????

you don't need a kit, it will bolt straight on, you just need to make a bracket for the choke and throttle cables if it hasn't already got one
