Parabolic springs add leaf?

Post by sidsuzuki2346 » Wed Aug 12, 2015 10:59 pm

I am about to fit some single leaf parabolic springs to the front of my sj, I realise that they can bend or even snap quite easily so would an add leaf make this less likely? The vehicle is only used on the road so it won't be getting any off the general off road abuse.

No, I would imagine add a leaf will make it worse. Aal are a really thick leaf with no give in them so I would think the single one will bend where the aal ends
Sid James gone but never forgotten
Jimny 1.6 not as good as an SJ but still good

I thought that might be the issue with them, in that case i won't bother with add leaf. Cheers mate.
