Hi guys,
since selling the SJ a few weeks ago and needing a proper everyday runaround I have been trawling Auto Trader and eBay in particular for a newer Suzuki Jimny.
Being disabled myself, I have various issues and one being that I need an automatic car. Since 2007 i've not driven a manual car as a daily driver. So the options were a little limited when it comes to Zooks.
Anyhow, last week I spotted this one on eBay and even though it took me a round trip of 6 hours I went and picked it up yesterday after I won the auction earlier in the day. I am extremely pleased with it, had my mechanic friend look at it before handing over the money and all was well.
Some pictures:
2003 1.3 Petrol, 59k on the clock genuine miles, I have the full MOT history check which was done and came with the paperwork. MOT until next May and it's automatic - so was great to finally get one within budget and that's in great condition too.
I'm happy with it anyway

Re: New Car
Great, love it, my second favourite colour after the pillar box red, I think it would look good with black wheels! How do you find the auto box? I have a crappy leg and probably won't be able to drive a manual all my life (even if I'm ok at the moment) my Volvo 240 has a 3 speed auto box and surprisingly I find it good, really quite smooth changes but it can be a little under geared
Re: New Car
@Tramp, the gearbox isn't bad at all. Quite nippy for a 1.3 - the overdrive is a definate help. Been out this evening in it and it's been quite a pleasure to drive.
