Re: Tramps Truck,
Just got back from nights, so I can fit my numberplate, I could do with bringing the bull bar forward a bit but I'm pretty happy,

We will see, hopefully this year!Jordi wrote:How long till MOT?
Thanks, it looks good on the pictures but it's not fantastic!Anton wrote:I really love your paintwork!
So today's work, finish drivers side arch,
I had a look at the brakes too, it looks like the cylinders leaking,
So any ideas where to get replacements?
I also noticed this,
Just a crack in my filler neck! I guess I'll have to replace that too!

Re: Tramps Truck,
Well I thought o was almost done on this side, so I had a run round with a wire brush tool before I painted it and found.......
Doh, so first things first, i decided to fit my new wheel cylinders, but the old brake pipe fitting wouldn't come undone so I ended up snipped the pipe, looking at the back plate it needs blasting and painting, so o tried to get it off, I got as far as this....
So I guess I'll have to take my bearing off to get the plate off right?
Then with the brake work postponed, I realised I would have to drop the tank if I was to be welding any further back in that arch,
It came off surprisingly easy,
But I was glad to find this,
My fuel gauge has always worked, but I can now see how they could easily pack up!
So I'm going to be doing some more cutting and welding, this piece,
Can I just cut it off? It doesn't appear to do much?
And round the filler hole,
Is it worth cutting the lot out? Or should I try to clean and paint it?
