I have heard of people getting them made up with removeable joints on each end, with the threads being cut by an engineering shop. I have been told the balljoints of a 80's series landcruiser will fit. they have the funny double one, as well as the singles, and also have the same taper, so there's no too many fitment issues
It's not a question of how much you spend on your suzuki, but when your money will run out

The 80 series TRE's have a large taper compared to the Suzuki ones and the knuckles need to be reamed out to the correct size, the reamer on its own is around £50

so what I've been told isn't entirely accurate, story of a lifetime. still could be a good thing to convert to run cruiser tre's, as they are a lot beefier than the sj ones
