Re: Samurai tie rod bar
I have heard of people getting them made up with removeable joints on each end, with the threads being cut by an engineering shop. I have been told the balljoints of a 80's series landcruiser will fit. they have the funny double one, as well as the singles, and also have the same taper, so there's no too many fitment issues
It's not a question of how much you spend on your suzuki, but when your money will run out

The 80 series TRE's have a large taper compared to the Suzuki ones and the knuckles need to be reamed out to the correct size, the reamer on its own is around £50kiwizook wrote:I have heard of people getting them made up with removeable joints on each end, with the threads being cut by an engineering shop. so what I've been told isn't entirely accurate, story of a lifetime. still could be a good thing to convert to run cruiser tre's, as they are a lot beefier than the sj onesScottieJ wrote:The 80 series TRE's have a large taper compared to the Suzuki ones and the knuckles need to be reamed out to the correct size, the reamer on its own is around £50
