interior lights not working as they should???
interior lights not working as they should???
Hi all, I have a UK 2006 1.9 DIESIL Grand Vitara. Following a leak through the roof ariel my rear interior light stopped working, it was full of water and had been for a long time. I have removed the light but since then none of the other interior lights are working when a door is opened. They still work manually. The small light in the boot is also no longer working. I have 12v at the white wire but nothing at black/red. I traced wire back to the fuse box and no voltage there either. All fuses are ok, not sure what else I can try. Thanks for reading, here is hoping the answer is out there, thanks.

Welcome to the club
The black red should earth when the doors are opened.
I can't think of an obvious cause of you problem unless your BCM is not allowing earth through
Your have to get a multimeter on it unless somebody else has a clue.
I see nobody could help on Suzuki-Forums.com
